Bringing in the Focus

Welcome to the deput of Protitude's re-launch with a new website and fresher content. Currently Protitude is owned and operated by Miles France and no employees, although I do hire some trusted outside contractors depending on the job at hand. The companies current location is in the Boulder Denver area. Although I am more than happy to consult with anyone on a wordwide basis an seen with the Maverick School website based in Dunedin New Zealand.

The largest problem currently facing my company is focusing in on a main service, since I know and am interested in so many things related to computers. I currently do some pc repair consulting ranging from hardware to network to software setup and repair. I also host, design, and program websites. My current focus has been using Drupal as a central platform for not only displaying the information dynamically but also giving the user control over their own website(s). With the current trend of the web with social networking and the need to interact more than ever with others through the web, Drupal is the perfect CMS to enable me to do many things for my client websites.

I'm currently employed at NCAR under the SERE lab which includes four total lab websites. It's my goal to implement Drupal on my websites, but this will also require an adoption of Drupal orginization wide. I'm on a user group to get this implemented currently.

My current goals are to create functional websites that are standards compliant, educate my clients and the drupal community on how to use drupal more effectively through screencasts, and to keep my compnay cost effective. My services may vary depending on the clients needs but my main focus is going to be on the creation of websites using drupal at the core when possible. Hosting and SEO will be my secondary focus for any clients that are in need of such services. My future blog posts will focus more on the education through drupal and other interesting things I run across in my own adventures creating web sites for current and future clients. To see some of the things I'm doing at NCAR see the blog by ucar.
