Another Day...

404 Fun:
Today I added a snippet to track my 404 pages with google analytics, I recieved from this site.

<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js">
</script>
<script type="text/javascript">
_uacct = "xxxxx-x";
urchinTracker("/404.php?page-not-found=" + _udl.pathname + _udl.search + "&linked-from=" + _ubd.referrer);
</script>

CMS meeting:
Had another CMS meeting. We finally finished going over the charter. We began to decide what are important categories on the project charter. This is all important, but I hope we get to the disqualifying and discussing of the actual products soon. I'm sure this is going to take a long as possible, but it would be nice to speed it up if possible. One thing I learned in the meeting is there is a site called Browser Shots, which gives you screenshots of your site on several browsers across several platforms. It's a pretty neat little tool. Here's some I took of our sites:

ISSE Cleanup
The ISSE cleanup is coming along. I converted all the internal pages into php pages from html. This needed to be done to dump the old look. Also I cleaned out a few pages along with a rewards program.

I need to figure out what to do with ex-employee pages. Do we archive the pages or do we get rid of them, or is there an in between all depending on if they had much to contribute?

I completely added the advanced search across all of the sites.

I'd like to clean up the CSS for this site and probably get rid of the javascripts currently used for tabs and other various things. I beleive there are better solutions out there with css accessibility in mind.

I finished Olga's site, which gives me a theme to use for future and current sites that need to be converted to the same look. By looking at all the sites out there for ISSE, this may not be as easy as it should be. Some scientists may be attached to their current sites. Time will tell...

I need to return to figuring out how I'm going to organize these sites. I should finish making a sitemap of the folders, and this will hopefully help give a logical structure to how the site should be organized as far as menus go as well.
