Today I sat down with DJan and asked her to help me categorize all of the folders that are in the CCB folder that aren't relevant to the ccb site alone and we came up with the following list of categories:

• workshops
• programs
• publications
• projects

Then I took each folder and created a mockup of how I'd like to re-order the folders. I'd like to start this process with CCB since it's still relatively small, but not as small as SERE which is almost not worth reordering since there isn't much in here. I'm going to propose reordering CCB in phases. Instead of just making all of the changes at once and see how it goes, I'd like to create the workshops folder and then maybe move one or two of the top workshops under this folder and see how it goes for a week. If no one seems to get up in arms then we can move the rest over to this folder and then the next week do the same for the next folder. This will take at least 2 weeks per categorized folder.

And of course to handle the moved content I'd create add them to the custom 404 so people will be able to find these moved folders. I'd hope to roll this over to ASP and eventually ISSE, which I really don't look forward to...
