Today I'm trying to stay out of trouble but it seems my attempt to make a test drupal site, discussing why we are making the shanghai site so oddly different then the rest of the site, and attempt to start a drupal meeting all resulted in me getting in trouble. Which most of these are me try to take initiative and get things done, but it just seems to result in someone getting all up in arms.
Today I worked a bit on the Sere site:

• Updated Staff page
• New LAR page is live
• Reconfiguration of the homepage, which is still waiting on CCB to send me some picts and content

I also moved the shanghai site over to php thereby limiting a 1 include per page for the navigation to one file for all pages. This is something I'd like to eventually do with the whole site to limit all the unnecessary editing that needs to be done with every page.
Currently I have a list of things to think about and implement:

• Create a standard format for a staff page
• Place a last updated date on each science article page
• Put together a Blog for the sere staff!!
• Create RSS feeds so others may be informed of new articles
• Standardize all Sites to look better and flow together
• ASP sidebar Database (have testing MySQL database)
• Look into making drupal for Multi-site installs

Overall it's been a busier day than normal, but I'm still held up waiting on Djan to decide to give me content to some extent. Plus after today I feel a little halted on taking very much more initiative without waiting for 10 approvals...
